BrainStorm Ventures targets a select number of “technology transfer” opportunities, where a business leverages a U.S. company’s technologies and execution expertise to target markets outside the U.S. Currently, the BrainStorm team has extensive experience and contacts for exploiting technology transfer opportunities in Mexico and other Spanish-speaking markets. In particular, BrainStorm Ventures has built a strong partnership with NCUBO, a Latin American technology group based in Mexico City capable of launching technology transfer opportunities. BrainStorm will seek to expand this type of network and capability to other global markets.

NCUBO is a technology group based in Mexico City primarily focused on building broadband/networking infrastructure companies and helping to launch “technology transfer” businesses, which target Spanish-speaking markets. The management team, board, and founding group consists of proven entrepreneurs, who are specialists in areas of investment banking, marketing, law, corporate finance, business development and information systems. NCUBO creates or selects businesses and offers them seed capital, management business contacts and network, recruiting assistance, office space, physical infrastructure and professional services to streamline all steps of business development and optimize the time to market.
